Phillip McCauley of Cora Lynn in Victoria had his Atlantic Giant Pumpkin weighed at his farm on the 28th February 2012 by Atlantic Seeds and it tipped the scales at a new Victorian Record of 385.1kg. Just 3 weeks prior Phillip had his Giant Marrow weighed and it created a new Australian Record of 20.3kg.

Australia's new record for the heaviest pumpkin. Congratulations to Ben Surma of Yarravel NSW for gowing his massive 518kg pumpkin that he had weighed at 2011Kootingal Pumpkin Festival .
Ben cannot get his arms around his massive 518kg pumpkin.

2011 Current World Record for Pumpkins We congratulate Jim and Kelsey Bryson from Ormstown, Quebec, Canada. They brought their record breaking 1,818.5 pound giant pumpkin to the Prince Edward County Pumpkinfest weigh, on October 15, 2011. The pumpkin was only slightly larger than the previous world record pumpkin of 1,810.5 pounds set in 2010 by Chris Stevens of Richmond, Wisconsin, USA
