Welcome to Victoria, Australia - what we personally consider the Australian Giant Pumpkin Capital. It’s a place where more pumpkins can be found than in nearly any other place, particularly, at our own home. We have real pumpkins, plastic pumpkins, toy pumpkins, pumpkin books, pumpkin dolls, pumpkin ornaments, pumpkin dishes, pumpkin candles, pumpkin jig saws - in fact we love pumpkins and forever adding to our pumpkin collection.
We live on the south-east of Melbourne on the outskirts of the Mornington Peninsula. It is only a small place, we don’t even have a public letterbox or telephone yet. It’s a very beautiful spot, with great views of Port Philip Bay out of our kitchen window. |

New World Record for Pumpkins
Congratulations to Joe Jutras from Rhode Island, USA who has beaten the previous World Record by a massive 85kgs, with a new world record pumpkin weighing a whopping 767kgs (1689lbs). What a fantastic effort, and what a sight it would have been at the Topsfield Fair GPC Weigh-Off held on the 29th September 2007.

A World First - Our Own Pumpkin Letterbox Pictured is Wendy Stayner (The Pumpkin Lady) with what is to be believed as the world's first pumpkin letterbox. Pictured besides Wendy is the creator of this wonder, Paul Latham. Paul was Australia's tallest sunflower record holder with a sunflower measuring 4.25 metres grown in 1999. |
